The Ogemaw County Humane Society needs volunteers to help with its day-to-day operations, assist with fundraisers, and help promote the shelter to the community. Whether you have a small amount of time to give, or a large amount, we need you.
Did you know that our volunteers include citizens and students that need to do community service through the courts and for school projects? Volunteers include people enrolled in Michigan Works and Experienced Works, students that are able to work on their own and are over the age of 12 years old, and even senior citizens looking to keep active?
Working with animals can lower blood pressure, help with mental illnesses, and give people a chance to give back to their community. Without you, our pets may not get the loving care and attention that they need. Please volunteer today and make a difference in the life of a homeless animal.
If you are interested in pursuing the commitment to become a volunteer, fill out and return our online “Volunteer Application Form” volunteer-application2012
